03 / The ArchitectureApplied methodology

The appliedmethodology.

An analytical system, a method of interpretation and a structured sequence of application, developed according to each individual’s functional organisation, current context and defined objectives.

01 · The Map

Multidimensional Functional Mapping.

The Map constitutes the analytical foundation of the framework. It organises individual information across interconnected domains, each examined in relation to the others. Six domains are currently defined.

The objective is to construct an integrated functional representation of the individual, identifying recurring patterns, interactions, inconsistencies and potential points of intervention.

02 · Functional Architecture

Structure, Dynamics, Manifestation.

An interconnected analytical model examining the structural organisation, dynamic interactions and observable manifestations of human functioning. These are the currently defined analytical categories of an evolving framework, understood as reciprocally interacting rather than as a fixed linear sequence.

The domains of The Map specify the areas of functioning that are examined. The analytical categories of Functional Architecture specify how the resulting information is organised for analysis.

03 · The applied process

From analysis to application.

The analytical system, its methodological interpretation and its practical application follow a structured sequence. Interventions are developed according to the individual’s functional organisation, current context and defined objectives.

Initial intake and collection of individual information, including current context, projects and defined objectives. The intake establishes context, fit and focus.

Assessment and Functional Mapping organise individual information through the domains of The Map and the analytical categories of Functional Architecture.

BMethodological interpretation

Pattern Analysis identifies recurring patterns, interactions, inconsistencies and potential points of intervention. Working interpretations are examined against concrete experiences, exceptions and contextual differences.

CPractical application

Intervention Design, Implementation and Review translate the analysis into practice, in individual functioning and in the projects and systems the individual is developing.

The process aims to improve functional coherence, adaptive capacity, self-regulation and the translation of understanding into deliberate, observable action. Action here includes the conception, development and realisation of external structures: projects, enterprises, strategic initiatives, intellectual assets and operational systems.

04 · The work

Pathways of individual work.

Structural Reading, Reorientation Work and Integrated Body Work are the established pathways through which the methodology is applied in individual work. They are coordinated within a single individual process.

Analysis of the individual’s functional organisation.

Structural Reading is a multidisciplinary reading of the individual case. It examines how cognitive, affective, somatic and relational processes interact with beliefs, circumstances and objectives, and identifies recurring patterns, existing capacities and tensions between intentions, choices and outcomes.

The individual study

A minimum of 20 hours of analysis and preparation per case. The study investigates the assumptions behind decisions and the conditions under which established strategies remain useful. Working interpretations are examined against concrete experiences, exceptions and contextual differences.

Tools

  • Somatic observation
  • Cognitive and metacognitive exploration
  • Psychological and relational analysis
  • Biographical and sociocultural context

The specific tools are explained before the work begins.

Individual process and continuity

An individual process, with scope to evolve.

An initial intake establishes context, fit and focus. Tools and depth of exploration are selected according to each person’s needs. Personalised continuation plans can support implementation, review progress and adapt to changing circumstances. Where appropriate, this work can involve a team of specialists selected for their expertise and relevance to the case, with clearly defined roles and coordinated support.

05 · Admission

Application and admission.

Individual work begins with an application, submitted through the intake questionnaire.

  1. 01Every intake is read in full and individually by Areta Toli.
  2. 02Admission is selective, and an application does not guarantee a place.
  3. 03You will receive a reply within a few days: an invitation to continue, or a considered note on fit and timing.
  4. 04INICIADORA™ is an analytical and applied framework. Its work does not constitute medical or psychological treatment and does not replace medical, psychological or other professional advice.
